Department of Education Victoria is seeking a Psychologist or Occupational Therapist to join the Student Support Services team in the Loddon Campaspe Area, based in Gisborne or Castlemaine. The role is 0.8FTE ongoing with the possibility of increasing to full time, working within a multidisciplinary team to support student wellbeing and engagement.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's Licence and Working with Children Check.
• Psychologist: degree and AHPRA registration; Occupational Therapist: degree and AHPRA registration.

Responsabilités

• Provide services within a multidisciplinary SSS team across four priority areas: critical incidents, acute/complex cases, prevention and capability building, short–to–medium term intervention.
• Conduct formal and informal assessments and interventions and collaborate with local service providers.
• Support schools, students and families to build capability for engagement, achievement and wellbeing.
• Work from Gisborne or Castlemaine base as part of a region-wide team.
