Job summary

Asset Therapy is seeking an experienced Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our growing team. You’ll manage your own caseload, travel between clients for 1:1 sessions, and deliver high-quality, evidence‑based speech pathology services to children in homes, schools and childcare settings.

You’ll work independently with paediatric expertise across articulation, language, AAC and feeding, while collaborating with families and educators.

Qualifications

• CPSP status with Speech Pathology Australia, or eligibility to obtain CPSP.
• NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
• ABN or willingness to obtain ABN.
• QLD Blue Card and NSW Working with Children Check.
• Driver licence and reliable vehicle.
• Experience in paediatric speech pathology.
• Own assessments and resources.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support speech sounds, language development, social communication, fluency, voice, feeding, literacy and AAC.
• Conduct observations, caregiver interviews, and standardised assessments.
• Develop and deliver evidence-based, play-based interventions.
• Collaborate with caregivers, teachers, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Coach families with practical strategies to support progress between sessions.
• Complete clinical notes and reports in a timely manner.
• Provide speech pathology services across homes, schools and childcare centres.
