Job summary

Ability Action Australia is expanding its team of Occupational Therapists to support NDIS participants across Australia. This role offers full-time or part-time options, flexible caseload within 30 minutes of home suburb, and a supportive clinical supervisor.

You will deliver evidence-based therapies, assess functional goals, recommend assistive technology, and work across home, school, and community settings while complying with regulations.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proactive and innovative mindset, with a genuine desire to make a difference.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative team.
• A passion for helping people in the disability sector.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload and delivering therapeutic services in line with participant goals.
• Assessing emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical function.
• Developing evidence-based treatment goals and interventions tailored to each individual.
• Recommending assistive technology and environmental modifications for increased independence.
• Supporting participants in home, school, work, and community settings.
• Maintaining compliance with current legislation and best-practice standards.
