Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd. is recruiting Primary School Teachers for flexible short-term and long-term opportunities in Ipswich and surrounding areas.

You will deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2, following provided plans, while maintaining an inclusive classroom that supports pupil progress and welfare. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and UK primary experience are required; you will work across year groups with adaptable teaching strategies and strong collaboration with school teams.

Qualifications

• QTS with UK Primary School experience.
• Strong understanding of KS1/KS2.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management.
• Able to adapt across year groups and teaching environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS1 curriculum using provided plans.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learner needs.
• Assess and record pupil progress when required.
• Collaborate with school staff and contribute to wider school life during longer placements.
