Job summary

Resthaven is seeking compassionate Home Support Workers to provide in-home assistance to elderly clients across the Fleurieu region, including Goolwa, Victor Harbor, and Stathalbyn. You’ll support daily tasks and companionship, helping clients stay safe and independent in their own homes.

You'll need a Cert III in Individual Support (or equivalent), a valid driver’s licence and a reliable insured vehicle. Flexible casual shifts Monday to Friday with travel between clients and time to build

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent) required or desirable.
• Current driver’s licence and a reliable registered insured vehicle.
• Flexible availability Monday – Friday to support clients.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach.

Responsibilities

• Domestic support including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and laundry.
• Personal care support for elderly clients.
• Transporting clients to appointments, shopping and social activities.
• Providing companionship and social support.
• Monitoring and reporting client wellbeing concerns.
