Job summary

The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre in Geelong is seeking a dedicated Family Violence Case Manager to support women and children affected by violence, with a focus on safety, risk assessment, and individualized services.

You will work in a collaborative, client-centred team, benefit from professional development, flexible leave, and salary packaging as part of an Enterprise Agreement, with 9-5 hours on weekdays.

Qualifications

• A relevant graduate or post graduate qualification in psychology, social work or other relevant discipline.
• A minimum two years’ relevant experience is desirable.
• Understanding of family violence with gendered feminist, structural, individual and family context.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to women and children experiencing family violence.
• Assess client risk and safety and address support needs.
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team and advocate across systems.
