Job summary

Healthcarelink Support is seeking an experienced Community Physiotherapist to deliver flexible contractor-based services across the NDIS and Aged Care sectors in Sydney and Melbourne.

You will perform mobility and range-of-motion assessments, deliver evidence-based rehabilitation, prescribe assistive technology, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, visiting clients in their homes and local communities. AHPRA registration and a current Australian driver’s licence are required.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Experience with NDIS and/or Aged Care clients.
• Strong rehabilitation, pain management and mobility assessment skills.
• Ability to prescribe assistive technology and mobility aids.
• Client-centred communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy services to NDIS and Aged Care clients with physical and neurological disabilities.
• Conduct movement and mobility assessments.
• Complete manual handling assessments and prescribe assistive technology.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions including exercise, manual therapy and rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and communicate with other health professionals.
• Deliver services in clients' homes and community settings with an ongoing caseload.
