Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning in Gladstone is seeking a Casual Educator to join our team. You’ll support centres and children across shifts, with a focus on safety, inclusivity, and enriching learning experiences.

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent) and a current Queensland Working with Children Check are required. Casual hours and above award rates apply.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood or ACECQA approved equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Current Queensland Working with Children Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the education program in the room and with the centre team.
• Engage and supervise the children at all times.
• Maintain a safe environment for children, families and team members.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families.
• Comply with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures.
• Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement.
