Job summary

LKM Recruitment is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper in Sydney to manage day-to-day financial operations using MYOB. This hands-on, all-round role covers accounts payable/receivable, payroll, BAS readiness, and financial administration in a small, supportive team.

The role offers flexible hours (approx. 30–32 per week) with options for full-time or part-time work, and a friendly office environment that values accuracy, ownership, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong end-to-end accounts experience including AP/AR and payroll.
• Experience with MYOB is ideal.
• Exposure to BAS preparation or working with accountants.
• Experience in a small business or trade/construction environment preferred.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Proactive can-do attitude and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Full function accounts payable and receivable
• Invoicing, reconciliations, and financial administration
• Payroll processing and employee records management
• Preparation and support for BAS reporting
• Budget tracking and financial reporting support
• Managing employee contracts and onboarding documentation
• Liaising with external partners including accountants
• Supporting systems and processes using MYOB
