Are you a natural leader with a passion for customer excellence? ORIX is seeking a Team Leader – Fleet (Major customer) to support and manage a team of Fleet Specialists, driving performance, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring customer success.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Customer Experience, you’ll lead a team of 5–6 Fleet Specialists to deliver high-quality customer service across an assigned portfolio. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll coach, mentor, and develop your team, while also collaborating with internal stakeholders to achieve customer and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Fleet Specialists, ensuring coverage and performance against KPIs
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members
  • Monitor performance, compliance, and reporting to ensure high standards of service delivery
  • Collaborate with Relationship Managers and other departments to resolve customer issues and drive strategic initiatives
  • Oversee reporting and data quality, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to clients
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and best practice
  • Contribute to profit margins and portfolio performance through strong leadership and customer focus
  • Champion ORIX values and foster a culture of collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement

Skills & Experience Required:

  • At least 18 months’ experience in fleet, leasing, or related services
  • Proven experience managing or mentoring a team
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to track KPI performance
  • Excellent verbal communication and numerical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and CRM systems
  • Knowledge of operating lease, fleet management products, and novated leasing
