Job summary

Capital Transport in Sydney is seeking a Recruitment Officer to grow and strengthen our subcontractor fleet. You’ll identify, attract, and onboard drivers, ensuring vehicles meet our standards and that new starters receive a strong safety-focused induction.

This role offers base salary plus super, on-site facilities including gym and equipment, and training with clear opportunities for career progression. A collaborative team environment and hands-on support from management help you succeed.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar role in sales or transport.
• Strong interview and onboarding skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and relationship management.
• Rights to work in Australia and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and recruit drivers based on business needs.
• Advertise, screen and conduct group/individual interviews.
• Ensure all onboarding requirements are clearly communicated.
• Conduct regular vehicle and equipment audits
• Manage incentive agreements and ensure accurate earnings.
• Resolve payment queries promptly and record all communication.
• Conduct exit interviews and highlight improvement opportunities.
• Provide admin support to the Management team.
• Attend meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.
