Job summary

Tradefaire International is seeking an experienced Tyre Fitter for our Mt Isa branch. You will service a diverse range of customers across trucking, mining and industrial sectors, with opportunities to specialise in areas of interest.

Responsibilities include tyre inspections, performance monitoring, rotations, balancing and puncture repairs, plus delivering high-quality service while maintaining safety and compliance in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a tyre fitting role.
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• A strong focus on safety and procedural compliance.
• Good understanding of tyre sizes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor fleet tyre performance, addressing damage and wear issues.
• Diagnose and provide accurate recommendations or solutions for customers.
• Troubleshoot problems related to wheel balancing, tyre and rim issues.
• Perform rotations, pressure checks, balancing and puncture repairs.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a professional presentation.
• Adhere to company and industry standards, policies and procedures.
• Ensure a clean and tidy work environment.

Skills & Experience:

• Cert II or experience in fitting heavy, agricultural, OTR tyres is highly desirable (or willingness to obtain).
