Job summary

Victoria State Emergency Service (VICSES) is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Officer to coordinate day-to-day maintenance for the VICSES fleet within an East or West portfolio. Reporting to the Fleet Maintenance Lead, you will monitor repair progress, liaise with servicing agents and communicate updates to members and stakeholders.

The role supports fleet readiness and compliance with maintenance requirements, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards, while participating in the Asset Duty

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day fleet maintenance requests.
• Liaise with servicing agents to schedule repairs.
• Monitor repair progress and update records.
• Escalate issues per processes and service standards.
• Support Asset Duty Officer roster and after-hours coverage.
• Provide after-hours support for fleet and equipment issues.
