Job summary

Hancock Iron Ore seeks a Maintainer Fitter for Roy Hill Mine, on a 14:14 days & nights FIFO roster from Perth. You will work with the Fixed Plant Maintenance team to rectify plant issues, supporting predictive, preventative, and planned maintenance while minimising downtime.

Role requires completion of a mechanical trade apprenticeship, mining industry experience, and a current WA C-class license. You will liaise with supervisors and use SAP CMMS to close work orders.

Qualifications

• Completion of mechanical trade apprenticeship.
• Experience in large scale fixed plant equipment (Classifiers, Cyclone, Pumps, Valves, Hydraulics, Gyro Crushers, Stacker/Reclaimer).
• Experience in the mining industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily inspections of Process Plant equipment and report on its condition.
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks as instructed by area supervisors.
• Ensure adequate materials and supplies are available to perform tasks.
• Complete Maintenance Work Orders electronically via SAP CMMS.
