Job summary

Anglican Community Services, Macquarie Park NSW, invites applications for an Accountant on a 6-month max-term within the Finance Operations team. You will manage end-to-end fixed asset accounting, capital projects, depreciation, and asset disposals, ensuring accurate reporting and strong financial governance.

You will collaborate with project, property and operational teams, prepare monthly journals and reconciliations, and support audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Experience in fixed asset accounting and capital expenditure management.
• Strong Excel skills and financial reporting experience.
• Knowledge of financial controls and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the fixed asset lifecycle including additions, transfers and disposals.
• Monitor capital projects and capitalisation of completed assets.
• Prepare project spend reporting, reconciliations and month-end journals.
• Collaborate with project, property and operational teams for timely information.
• Support audits and continuous process improvement initiatives.
