Job summary

Coates Hire Operations Pty Limited, based at the Hume branch in Canberra, is seeking a maintenance technician to keep our fleet of hire equipment in prime condition and ready for the next customer.

You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, maintain service records and help minimise downtime, with a Monday–Friday roster and a 7am start. Flexible working options can be discussed.

Qualifications

• Experience with petrol and diesel motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic electrical skills.
• Driver's licence (preferably MR or HR).
• Forklift and EWP tickets (beneficial).
• Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

Job description
