Job summary

HR Partners is seeking a skilled Fitter & Turner to join a high‑performing workshop in Sumner Park. You will work with manual and CNC mills and lathes to manufacture polyurethane, plastic and rubber components for heavy industries.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM and Friday 6:00 AM–12:00 PM, with full‑time permanent status. Join a collaborative team delivering components for mining, manufacturing and aviation sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience using Manual Mills, CNC Mills and CNC Lathes.
• Able to machine metal moulds and dies for polyurethane and rubber parts.
• Trimming and finishing blocks to engineering tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Operate Manual & CNC Mills / CNC Lathes.
• Machine manufactured parts and tooling.
• Machine moulds and dies used for polyurethane and rubber components.
• Machine frames, plates and studs for polyurethane assemblies.
• Trim and fine-tune polyurethane/plastic blocks to tolerance.
• Rework tooling and dies to drawings.
