Footprints is seeking a First Nations Mental Health Worker to join our Medicare Mental Health Centre in Brisbane. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-led mental health services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and families, within a culturally safe framework.

You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to assess needs, implement evidence-based interventions, and connect people to local supports, resources, and services while upholding Footprints’

Qualificações

• Experience in mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions.
• Understanding of cultural safety with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Knowledge of mental health system, policy, ethics.
• Strong organizational skills and independence.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality, person-led mental health services.
• Support social and emotional wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
• Collaborate with individuals, families and communities to develop support strategies.
• Liaise with multi-disciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
• Apply Footprints Medicare Mental Health Centres Model of Service Delivery.
