The role At the heart of this role is the opportunity to shape and lead the creation of meaningful and engaging First Nations learning experiences across the stunning sites of the Botanic Gardens of Sydney. You’ll design innovative programs that connect people of all ages with First Nations knowledges, cultures, and histories while aligning with curriculum and strategic goals. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll guide and support team members, build partnerships, and bring creative energy to program development and delivery.
You’ll also manage day-to-day operations – from rostering staff and overseeing budgets to working with schools, community groups, and industry partners. The challenge lies in balancing the coordination of a dispersed casual team, embedding cultural integrity, and developing programs that are inclusive, relevant, and of consistently high quality.
