APM is seeking an Employment Consultant in Alice Springs, NT to help participants prepare for and secure sustainable employment within the Workforce Australia program. You will connect with participants, assess needs, and work with employers to create opportunities that empower individuals to thrive.

The role emphasizes empathy, stakeholder collaboration, and innovative problem-solving to break down barriers and build pathways to successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Australia.
• Current driver’s licence and comprehensively insured vehicle.
• MyGovID (Standard level)
• Willing to complete a National Police Check
• Able to pass a Working with Children Check
• Available to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm

Responsibilities

• Find the perfect match – support participants with Workforce Australia to prepare for, find and maintain sustainable employment
• Boost confidence – help participants see strengths, overcome obstacles, and take on new employment with purpose
• Provide creative solutions to overcome employment challenges and ensure tools and support for success
• Advocating – act as an advocate for inclusive hiring and workplace adjustments
• Celebrate milestones – recognise and reward successful placements
• Build lasting partnerships with diverse employers who share our commitment to inclusion
