Job summary

LiveHire Limited is seeking a First Nations Cancer Prevention Project Officer to support the Healthy Together initiative across the Campaspe and Goulburn Valley regions, working with KDHS and Aboriginal communities.

You will provide project administration, engagement and operational support, contributing to planning, monitoring and evaluation to improve cancer prevention and access to culturally safe care for First Nations people.

Qualifications

• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations.
• Ability to communicate across client, community and professional groups, with negotiation skills.
• Effective project coordination skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and within small or large teams.
• Computer skills including telehealth, mobile devices and the client database (RCP).
• Ability to manage time, prioritise demands and meet deadlines.
• Strong reporting writing and submissions skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide project administration and engagement support for the Healthy Together initiative.
• Collaborate with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and partner organisations and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor, evaluate activities to improve cancer prevention and access to culturally safe care.
• Assist with reporting, resource development and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure funding requirements and community expectations are met.
