Job summary

JBS Rockhampton Plant is seeking an experienced First Aid Officer in a casual capacity (approximately 36 hours per week) to deliver daily treatment of injuries and illnesses and to monitor wellbeing and safety of all team members.

The role involves providing immediate first aid, assessing injury severity, and collaborating with RTW, HR and Supervisors, while supporting RTW and light duties programs. Join a global organisation with strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar First Aid or RTW role.
• CPR and First Aid Certificate required.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to stay calm and assist others to stay calm.

JBS Rockhampton is currently recruiting an experienced First Aid Officer to join our team in a casual capacity (approximately 36 hours per week). Reporting to the HR Manager, this position will play an integral role in ensuring the safety of our team members by delivering daily treatment of injuries and/or illnesses as well as monitoring the wellbeing and safety of each of our team members.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Providing immediate first aid treatment to team members
• Assessing the severity of injuries and escalating where required
• Collaborating with key stakeholders (e.g. RTW, HR, Supervisors)
• Being the first point of contact for all injuries and/or illnesses
• Supporting our Return to Work (RTW) and light duties programs

About You

Located in the Beef Capital of Australia, the JBS Rockhampton Plant produces a range of pasture fed and grain fed beef products. Our verified organic grass-fed beef brands, Acres Organic and Right to Roam, are both packed exclusively at Rockhampton.
