A local government organisation in Queensland is seeking an Education and Training Officer for the First 5 Forever program, focused on enhancing literacy skills in children. This role involves training library staff, coordinating outreach activities, and engaging with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in training design and stakeholder engagement. This position offers a salary of A$83,062.50 - A$88,997.98 annually plus benefits, promoting a flexible and supportive work environment.

Qualificações

• Demonstrated experience in designing and planning of training and development activities.
• In depth knowledge, interest and understanding of early or family literacy programs.
• Highly developed oral skills and a proven track record of engaging key stakeholders.
• Organized, adaptable, and flexible.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and deliver training for all library staff for First 5 Forever programs.
• Coordinate outreach activities, including travel to island communities.
• Engage, build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders.
• Research and share best practices in early childhood literacy.
• Manage program reporting, budgets, and compliance.
