About The Role

Based out of our leading Bunbury Fire division, you will have responsibility to attend customer sites to install, service, and maintain fire protection equipment, including hose reels, hydrants, extinguishers, and other related products, including testing of smoke detectors.

Other Duties Will Include

  • Servicing portable fire equipment on our customer premises and recommending portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment to comply with specific Australian Standards
  • Providing excellent customer service and advice to our clients on site
  • Using power tools to install and repair portable fire equipment, such as extinguishers and blankets
  • Opportunity for overtime pay when traveling to remote sites
  • Using Field Service mobile phone application to plan and organize your schedule

About You

Whilst previous experience in the Fire industry is preferred, it is not essential, as you will receive all the training required to perform your role at a high standard. If you have a service mindset and enjoy customer interaction, you can achieve the outcomes you and our company desire.

  • FPAS or Certificate II in Fire Protection is preferred or willing to obtain with in-house training
  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • Australia Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • A construction industry white card (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Some experience in a similar role where you are responsible for basic maintenance and/or mobile service delivery is desirable
  • An appreciation of excellent customer service and the ability to communicate with clients on site
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • The ability to work away from home when required – Remote sites
  • Demonstrate efficiency through prior time and route planning
  • Can prepare written reports and quotations where required
  • Be a proactive member of the team
