Job summary

Mammoth is seeking Fire Suppression Technicians for a 7/7 roster based at our Orange NSW branch. DIDO or FIFO options available for eligible candidates. You will install, service and repair fire suppression systems on mobile plant machinery at mining sites.

Ideal candidates have experience with fire suppression or mechanical fitting, strong communication, and the ability to pass medicals and D&A screening. Certifications in fire protection or mechanical trades are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in fire suppression systems or mechanical fitting.
• Solid communication skills for customer interaction and liaising with stakeholders.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medicals and D&A screening.
• Aptitude with tools and mechanical systems.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain fire suppression kits on mobile plant equipment.
• Perform installations in engine bays and other confined spaces.
• Collaborate with customers on-site to ensure requirements are met.
• Work effectively within a team environment to achieve on-site goals.
• Track and maintain parts inventory at the warehouse.
