Job summary

Sandvik Mining in Bendigo, VIC seeks a Fire Suppression Technician to install, service and diagnose fire suppression systems on mining equipment. Based in Bendigo, you will travel to sites across Victoria and NSW to support local contracts, following a 9-day fortnight roster with weekend premiums.

You will gain certifications through Sandvik training and contribute to a safe, compliant, and efficient operation while delivering high-quality service to customers.

Qualifications

• Trade experience in mechanical/maintenance environments.
• Desirable accreditation in Fire Protection (FPA).
• Good customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and install Fire Suppression systems.
• Identify faults in electrical/mechanical configurations of mobile systems.
• Maintain inspection test reports and documentation.
• Support regional technicians and assist in training.
• Adhere to EHS policies and procedures.
• Work solo or in a team; travel across VIC/NSW as required.
