Job summary

Department of Families, Fairness & Housing VIC in Melbourne is recruiting for a Fire Services Coordinator to oversee fire safety coordination across department facilities. You will work with Homes Victoria and other divisional areas to ensure safe and compliant buildings, manage upgrade projects, and liaise with project managers and fire safety engineers.

Qualifications

• Co-ordinate fire services upgrade works
• Strong knowledge of fire safety regulatory requirements
• Working knowledge of Capital Development Guidelines - Series 7
• Collaborate with Coordinators, Project Managers and Fire Safety Engineers

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact clients and the department's ability to deliver or facilitate the delivery of effective support and services.
• Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including: research, analysis and implementation of projects
• Support the development and delivery of projects or sub-projects and their successful delivery and completion within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters
• Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure departmental objectives are met
• Where responsible for overseeing, monitoring or delivering projects, ensure they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations and guidelines
