Job summary

State of Victoria, Department of Families, Fairness and Housing, seeks a Fire Services Coordinator to lead fire risk management and regulatory compliance across department-owned or funded facilities in Victoria.

The role coordinates fire services upgrade works, works with other Coordinators, Project Managers and Fire Safety Engineers, and requires strong stakeholder management and knowledge of Capital Development Guidelines - Series 7 to ensure safe, compliant buildings.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management and liaison with multiple agencies.
• Working knowledge of the department's Capital Development Guidelines - Series 7.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate how actions and outcomes impact the department's ability to deliver services.
• Contribute to the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives including timelines and budgets.
• Assist in research, analysis and implementation of projects based on defined outcomes.
• Support development and delivery of projects or sub-projects and their successful delivery within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
• Contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure departmental objectives are met.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation, government regulations and guidelines.
