Job summary

Credwell is seeking a Fire & Risk Consultant to manage diverse consulting projects for building owners, strata managers, developers, and architects in Sydney. You will provide trusted advice on fire safety compliance, risk reduction, and practical solutions while coordinating reports and schedules.

Ideal candidates will have strong reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience in AFSS, building compliance, and fire protection systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in fire safety assessment and consulting.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and building codes.
• Strong report writing and stakeholder communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse range of consulting projects and provide trusted advice to clients.
• Conduct fire safety compliance assessments and audits.
• Prepare Fire Safety Reports and Fire Safety Schedule reviews.
• Coordinate Annual Fire Safety Statements and respond to Fire Safety Orders.
• Develop practical compliance solutions and project manage technical reports.

The Role

As a Fire & Risk Consultant, you will manage a diverse range of consulting projects while providing trusted advice to building owners, strata managers, developers, architects, certifiers and contractors.

You will be responsible for:

• Fire safety compliance assessments
• Building and fire protection audits
• Fire Safety Reports
• Fire Safety Schedule reviews
• Annual Fire Safety Statement coordination
• Fire Safety Order advice and responses
• Compliance assessments
• Preparation of specifications
• Client meetings and stakeholder engagement
• Developing practical compliance solutions
• Project management and technical report writing
• Business development and client relationship management

What We're Looking For
