Stantec is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join our Melbourne-based fire team on a full-time basis. You will contribute to iconic projects across Australia and NZ, planning, designing, and delivering fire protection systems for data centres, healthcare, education, and commercial facilities.

Qualifications
- 2–3 years experience in a design consultancy environment (open to more)
- Degree qualified in engineering or related field (fire protection)
- Experience planning and managing successful projects
- Technical knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards
- Ability to review FEB and FER and liaise with Fire Safety Engineers
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage projects from concept to installation and commissioning.
- Provide oversight and supervision to ensure successful project delivery.
- Design Fire Protection Services (sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, detection, extinguishers, gas suppression) for complex projects.
- Prepare and present technical presentations to external clients.
- Maintain deliverables and meet project timeframes; attend construction meetings and site inspections.
