Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fire Engineering with at least 3 years’ experience in fire engineering.

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to joinour growing, dynamic team in Sydney. You'llbe working alongside an experienced team of Fire Engineers on a wide range of projects across many industries. You'llhave the opportunity to be involved from concept, through detailed design and constructionmonitoringof these projects.

This role will also see you involved in:

• Undertaking performance and prescriptive based fire engineering design covering all aspects of fire safety which includes fire and smoke modelling, egress analysis, suppression, alarm and detection, external fire spread and fire safety management.
• Ensuring fire engineering designs are in keeping with (but not restricted by) relevant industry codes,standardsand Holmes’s overarching philosophy of encouraging performance-based solutions, ensuring that clients expectations are not only met, but exceeded.
• Developing andmaintainpositive relationships with clients and local authorities on a range of projects.

About You

We’re looking for experienced fire engineerswith local Australian experience,who are degree/masters qualified in Fire Engineering and have a minimum of 3 years’ experiencein fire engineering. You’llhave prior experience withperformance-baseddesign and have worked on large and complex projects. Your excellent technical skills will be matched by your ability to build meaningful clientrelationshipsandyou’llbe a confident communicator with the willingness tohelp outat every level.
