Job description

Overview

We are looking for a full-time Purchasing & Warehouse Manager to join our client’s team immediately. This dual role combines purchasing responsibilities with hands-on warehouse operations and is a fire alarm, CCTV, security and access control union contractor. Location is Garden City, Long Island, NY

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase orders, pricing, and vendor communication
• Track orders, backorders, and deliveries
• Receive and process materials for project delivery (some heavy lifting)
• Oversee one delivery truck: schedule routes & manage stock
• Use Excel daily for reporting and tracking

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills (all processes are Excel-based)
• Organized, reliable, and able to work under pressure
• Great personality and team player
• Willingness to handle both desk and physical warehouse work
