Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking a Webber – Motor Grade Operator (Fine) for heavy civil projects. The role involves operating motor graders (some GPS/laser controlled), finishing grade work to spec, and maintaining equipment on outdoor job sites.

Requirements include strong English communication, ability to work on uneven terrain, and 5+ years in heavy highway/civil construction as a Finish Blade/Motor Grade Operator. High school diploma preferred; safety and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• English communication via verbal and written communications.
• Move throughout a construction jobsite including ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment.
• Mathematical proficiency as it relates to basic geometry, algebra, and mathematics.
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
• Five or more years of heavy highway and civil construction experience as a Finish Blade Operator or Motor Grade Operator preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate motor graders, some equipped with GPS and Laser Controlled Grading System.
• Perform finish grade work to bluetops or other close specification control; conform closely to specifications.
• Perform maintenance work to motor grader including oiling, greasing, and adjustments.
• Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures and report hazards.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Gain the respect of others by being fair, honest, reliable, and hard working.
• Other unlisted duties will be assigned.
