We are seeking a technically strong and commercially astute Financial Reporting Lead to join our Group Finance team. This is a career-defining opportunity for someone with top-tier reporting and tax expertise to work in a complex, high-growth environment.

About the role

  • Lead the preparation and review of tax effect accounting calculations for monthly, half-year, and full-year reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recognition of current and deferred tax balances in line with AASB 112 / IAS 12.
  • Prepare and review statutory accounts, including tax disclosures, and manage external audit processes.
  • Conduct month-end reviews of key subsidiaries and provide technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with the Group Tax team on compliance, disclosures, and technical research.
  • Drive automation, standardisation, and continuous improvement in reporting processes.
  • Mentor junior staff and foster cross-functional learning.

What we’re looking for

  • CA/CPA qualified with a tertiary degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • 7+ years’ experience in financial reporting and/or tax.
  • Mandatory: Background in an ASX100 listed organisation (essential).
  • Experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm (audit/tax advisory) highly regarded.
  • Strong technical knowledge of AASB/IFRS standards and tax effect accounting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
