Job summary

Goodwin Recruit is seeking a Senior Financial Controller for a rapidly growing ASX-listed business nearing commercialisation of circular economy technology. The role partners with the CFO to deliver statutory and external reporting, and to scale finance operations as the company expands internationally (USA, Europe).

You will own reporting, build robust systems, and support investor communications. CA/CPA with 4–6 years listed-company experience is essential; senior candidates with auditing

Job description

With the share price quadrupling in 2026 to achieve a market cap of circa $100m and successful capital raisings completed the company is gaining the attention of global investors seeking to take a position in a business with the potential to be a major player in the circular economy.

Forecast to generate substantial revenue streams in Australia, USA and Europe by FY 2028, the business is putting in place the people and systems to support the additional complexity that expansion will inevitably bring.

The Financial Controller will work closely with the CFO to support the business as it transitions into full commercialisation of technology, with construction of processing plants in key overseas markets (USA & Korea).

Exposure to capital markets, ASX reporting add additional elements to the Financial Controllers role with the importance of quality external reporting elevated considerably.

The Financial Controller will take carriage of external & internal reporting and will be pivotal in developing and enhancing systems, processes and controls to ensure the finance function is positioned to support the operational teams as the business scales.

Working with CFO to provide commercial support including input to analysis, financial models and contract negotiations with exposure to investor relations and preparation of ASX announcements offering additional opportunities for learnings.

This role has the potential to be career transforming for a candidate looking to apply the technical skills developed in an auditing or statutory reporting role in a business that has the capability to be a global player in the circular economy.

Exposure to ASX reporting and other statutory reporting requirements gained either within an ASX listed business or exposure to ASX listed audit clients over at least 4 - 6 years is essential.

CA or CPA qualifications are also essential selection criteria.
