Uniting Victoria and Tasmania – Melbourne VIC is seeking an analytical finance professional to partner with operational leaders, develop budgets and forecasts, and provide insights that influence service delivery and community outcomes.

Based in Melbourne's CBD with a flexible hybrid arrangement, you will deliver monthly reporting and actionable recommendations, supporting sustainable services for communities across Victoria and Tasmania.

Your new role

Bring your financial analysis expertise to a role where your insights directly influence service delivery and community outcomes. Working within our Finance team, you'll partner with operational leaders across the organisation, providing meaningful financial guidance that supports informed decision-making.

This is an opportunity to move beyond traditional reporting. You'll work closely with program managers to understand operational performance, develop budgets and forecasts, and provide the financial insights needed to deliver sustainable services to the communities we support.

Your impact will include:

• Partnering with operational leaders to support budgeting, forecasting and financial performance.
• Delivering accurate monthly reporting and variance analysis.
• Translating complex financial and funding information into practical recommendations.
• Supporting managers to understand financial results and improve performance outcomes.

Based at our Lonsdale Street office in Melbourne's CBD, this role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

Your skills and experience

You're an analytical finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, influencing decision-making and delivering accurate financial insights in a fast-paced environment.

You will bring with you:

• Experience in financial analysis, management accounting or FP&A.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills.
• High attention to detail and the ability to work autonomously.
• Experience in community services, government, health or not-for-profit organisations highly regarded.
