Job summary

CHC Helicopter in West Perth, WA is seeking a technically strong Financial Accounting & Compliance Accountant to own statutory financial reporting, external audit, and regulatory reporting across the Australian business.

You will lead month-end close, deliver accurate financial statements, and drive improvements in controls within a hybrid work environment.

Applicants must be CA/CPA qualified with experience in ASX-regulated environments and ERP systems such as Workday.

Qualifications

• Statutory financial reporting experience across Australia and regulatory compliance.
• External audit coordination and auditor relationship management.
• Application of AASB/IFRS standards in practice, including complex areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process ensuring accurate reporting to AASB/IFRS.
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements and manage the external audit.
• Ensure BAS, GST, PAYG and related regulatory obligations are met.
• Maintain robust balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger integrity.
