Job summary

Reo Group is seeking a Financial Accountant to join a growing private multi-company group in Adelaide. You will own end-to-end accounting and financial reporting across a portfolio of businesses, with duties spanning month-end, journals, reconciliations and analysis.

You will ideally be a CA or CPA qualified accountant with experience in a commercial, multi-entity environment and strong Excel. This role offers breadth across reporting, controls and year-end activities within a dynamic finance

Qualifications

Strong Excel capability and advanced Excel skills.
Comfortable working with large volumes of financial data.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end accounting and reporting for a portfolio of businesses.
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements; run journals, accruals and provisions.
Perform detailed variance analysis on margins, costs, labour, sales and stock.
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and fixed asset registers.
Coordinate intercompany reconciliations, consolidation and elimination entries.
Support year-end financial statements, audits, budgets and forecasts.
Drive improvements to finance processes, controls, policies and workpapers.
Collaborate with operational managers to investigate variances and resolve issues.
