The role supports monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, maintains the general ledger, and assists with budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and audits. Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• CPA or CA qualified, or actively working towards qualification.
• Minimum 4–6 years' experience in financial accounting or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Experience preparing month-end reports, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Knowledge of Australian tax and compliance requirements.

Aufgaben

• Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments, and other entries.
• Support preparation of statutory financial statements and reporting requirements.
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts.
• Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Review transactions for correct classification and compliance with standards.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory obligations.
• Assist in maintaining internal financial controls.
• Support BAS, payroll tax, and other statutory reporting requirements.
