Job summary

Resolution Life Australasia is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our Financial Accounting team and play a key role in preparing and producing financial reports for the Group. You will contribute to the consolidation of financial data, statutory statements and governance activities, working with Finance, Actuarial and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualification or equivalent accounting credential.
• Experience in preparing and/or auditing life insurance financial statements is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of statutory and group reporting processes.
• Proven ability to consolidate data across multiple entities.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Australian Group consolidation activities and the preparation of Group financial reports.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and related disclosures.
• Coordinate reporting inputs from Finance, Actuarial and other business stakeholders.
• Update narrative reporting and provide financial analysis and commentary.
• Support governance activities to ensure timely, accurate group reporting.
• Provide project management support to deliver reporting within deadlines.
• Drive continuous improvement of consolidation and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with leaders to communicate transformation and process improvements.
