Job summary

Tattarang, one of Australia’s largest private investment groups, seeks a Senior Financial Accountant to ensure ledger integrity across multiple entities and timely reporting.

You will perform month‑end close activities, fixed asset maintenance, intercompany recharges, and assist audits, with strong Excel and ERP systems experience.

The role focuses on process improvements and ad hoc finance workflows, requiring a self‑starter mindset and meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Relevant demonstrated experience as an Accountant.
• ERP systems exposure and strong Excel skills.
• The ability to work towards strict deadlines and attention to detail.
• Self-starter with the ability to work with limited supervision.
• Good communication, problem solving and reconciliation skills.

Responsibilities

• Processing of transactional activities including bank reconciliations, intercompany recharges, credit card expenditure, travel, accruals.
• Payment runs reviews and approvals.
• Preparation of month/year end balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of general ledger.
• Maintenance of fixed asset register and depreciation calculations.
• Completion of month end accounting activities including journals for accruals/prepayments.
• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Support with tax queries and external audits.
• Assist with budget/reforecast process.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects across accounting processes.
• Handle ad hoc accounting duties as required.
