Job summary

Reo Group in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Financial Accountant for a 6-month contract to support our finance team through an ERP implementation and broader process improvements.

You will own month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, inventory accounting and financial reporting, collaborating with manufacturing and finance stakeholders to understand costs and performance, while leveraging Microsoft Dynamics.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environment and strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
• Proficient in month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting ERP implementation or finance transformation.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to analyse large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support month-end financial reporting and close processes.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Support inventory and manufacturing accounting processes.
• Assist with financial reporting, analysis and management reporting.
• Collaborate with manufacturing stakeholders to understand costs and financial performance.
• Support ERP implementation and process improvement initiatives.
• Utilise Microsoft Dynamics across financial accounting and reporting processes.
• Assist with audit requirements and statutory reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, controls and reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure internal controls.
