The successful candidate will manage month-end activities, revenue calculations, and board-facing analysis, while collaborating with the global team to deliver accurate statements and insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CA/CPA qualification or progress towards.
• 2+ years’ experience in a financial reporting role.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to build stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Complete month-end activities including manual journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Accounts payable activities.
• Prepare revenue calculations and customer fee invoices.
• Cash flow forecasting and monitoring financial compliance.
• Prepare quarterly board papers including financial statement analysis and dividend/capital management recommendations.
• Delivery of annual financial statements and clearance of audit queries.
• Build collaborative relationships with the global team.
• Assist the manager and team with ad hoc financial analysis and project work.
• Update and document procedures and identify process improvements.

This position is ideally suited to someone looking to make their first move from a consulting / Big 4 audit firm or from a Financial Services Group. A person, who thrives in a detail-orientated role with exposure to senior leadership and can deliver optimal policies and governance across finance.

Responsibilities:

• Completion of month-end accounting activities, including preparation of manual journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Accounts payable activities.
• Preparation of revenue calculations and customer fee invoices.
• Cash flow forecasting and monitoring financial compliance.
• Prepare quarterly board papers including financial statement analysis and dividend / capital management recommendations.
• Delivery of annual financial statements and clearance of audit queries.
• Building and maintaining a collaborative relationship with the global team.
• Provide assistance to the manager & team with other ad hoc financial analysis and project work.
• Updating and documenting procedures. This includes an opportunity to identify, suggest and implement ongoing process improvements within the team.

Experience:

• Tertiary qualification in accounting.
• CA / CPA qualified or working towards a qualification.
• 2+ years’ experience in a Financial Reporting role.
• Excellent communicator with strong report writing capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to build strong relationships across a variety of stakeholders at differing levels of leadership.
