Job summary

IAIP in Sydney seeks a Financial Accountant to support the CFO across financial reporting, compliance and treasury within a professional Family Office/investment environment.

The role covers monthly reporting, GL maintenance, statutory lodgements, payroll oversight, cash flow management and liaison with auditors and advisers. 3+ years in financial services is preferred.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion with 3+ years' experience in Family Office or Financial Services.
• Strong financial accounting and compliance experience.
• Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced Excel capability.

Responsibilities

• Monthly financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Managing statutory compliance including BAS, payroll tax and other lodgements.
• End-to-end payroll oversight, including STP, PAYG and superannuation.
• Cash flow management and treasury support.
• Accounts payable and receivable oversight.
• Maintaining accurate general ledger records.
• Supporting entity administration and corporate governance requirements.
• Liaising with external auditors, tax advisers and other stakeholders.
• Assisting with investment accounting and reporting activities.
• Contributing to process improvement initiatives and ad hoc finance projects.

Financial Accountant - North Sydney - $110-130K + Super

Your new role
