Job summary

AMS Group is seeking a finance professional to support timely financial reporting and month-end processes from our Melbourne office with hybrid work arrangements.

You will work with Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders to maintain financial controls and contribute to strategic decision-making, with exposure to NetSuite or Dynamics 365 and advanced Excel/Power BI usage.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Strong financial reporting and analytical capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI.
• ERP system experience: NetSuite or Dynamics 365.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and consolidating monthly financial statements and group reporting.
• Assisting with statutory reporting, tax, and external audit requirements.
• Managing balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journals.
• Developing and enhancing reporting tools using Excel and Power BI.

At AMS Group, we're seeking a talented finance professional to join our team, reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant.

You'll work closely with Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, support month-end and year-end processes, maintain financial control compliance requirements, and contribute to strategic financial decision-making.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing and consolidating monthly financial statements and group reporting
• Assisting with, statutory reporting, tax, and external audits requirements.
• Managing balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journals
• Developing and enhancing reporting tools using Excel and Power BI
• Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes and reporting efficiency

You are a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering with stakeholders across the business.

You'll bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Strong financial reporting and analytical capabilities
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI
• ERP system experience, NetSuite (highly desired) or Dynamics 365
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
