Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will lead a small finance team and drive core financial accounting and operational finance activities across treasury, leases and revenue.

The role requires CA or CPA qualification, strong technical accounting, and a hands-on leadership style.

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified with strong technical accounting expertise.
• Experience leading high-performing finance teams.
• Knowledge of AASB 15 revenue recognition.
• Experience managing treasury functions, cash flow and investments.
• Strong lease accounting expertise.
• Proven experience leading external audits and compliance activities.
• Advanced financial systems capability; TechnologyOne experience highly regarded.
• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
• Experience supporting change initiatives in a finance transformation environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of finance professionals.
• Manage month-end and year-end financial reporting processes.
• Own treasury activities, cash flow forecasting and banking relationships.
• Oversee lease accounting and compliance with accounting standards.
• Lead annual external audits and statutory compliance.
• Oversee revenue accounting across multiple funding streams (AASB 15).
• Maintain robust financial controls, governance and risk management.
• Support finance transformation initiatives and drive process improvements.
