Job summary

Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety is seeking a commercially minded financial reporting professional for a 12-month contract in Sydney. You'll join a high-performing team, focusing on group financial reporting, consolidation, and the migration from TM1 to OneStream.

Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, you will support month-end processes, data integrity, budgeting and long-range planning, and engage with stakeholders to improve reporting and governance.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified, or actively working towards qualification.
• 2–3 years' experience in financial reporting within a corporate environment.
• Experience across consolidation, statutory or management reporting.
• Strong Excel capability and advanced analytical skills.
• Experience with financial systems and reporting tools.
• OneStream experience highly regarded.
• Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, half-yearly and annual financial reporting and group consolidations.
• Prepare reporting submissions and financial packs for Wesfarmers and Bunnings Group Finance.
• Perform reconciliations, validation checks and data integrity reviews to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Support the migration of financial reporting data and processes from TM1 to OneStream.
• Provide first-level OneStream administration and user support.
• Assist with lease accounting, including AASB 16 journals, reporting, forecasting and budgeting activities.
• Develop reporting improvements using OneStream, Power BI, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Excel.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes.
• Partner with finance and business stakeholders to resolve reporting issues and provide insights.
• Assist with audit requirements, compliance activities and financial governance processes.
