Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Melbourne – Flinders Street is seeking a Finance & Procurement Executive to support the Finance Manager with accurate financial reporting and procurement controls. You will help manage hotel finance functions from audits and reconciliations to supplier management and cost control.

Key duties include maintaining contracts and supplier registers, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, coordinating month-end close, tracking purchase orders, and stock takes in partnership with

Qualifications

• Experience in accounting and financial reporting.
• Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work in a small team and autonomously.
• Excellent time management and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with internal controls over hotel assets, liabilities, revenue and costs.
• Maintain register of contracts, suppliers, licenses and insurance with proper filing.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations monthly.
• Coordinate and manage month end closing incl. journal postings and reviews.
• Ensure an effective system for allocating and reconciling purchase orders.
• Conduct stocktakes and liaise with Department Heads for procurement needs.
