Job summary

The Acquire Group in Sydney is seeking a Finance Operations Controller who will own the engine room of the finance function, enabling the CFO to focus on strategy and growth. You will manage daily settlements, trust and bank reconciliations, and drive real-time cash flow visibility.

The role is hands-on, high-volume and deadline-critical, with opportunities to automate processes, develop unit costing, and contribute to month-end close as the role grows.

Qualifications

• ACA qualification and early-career experience in high-volume, transactional or trust environments.
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and get into the detail.
• Proven ability to hit non-negotiable deadlines without dropping quality.
• Management reporting or FP&A experience, building and improving reports rather than just reading them.
• Drive to automate and improve, and to treat process improvement as core to the job.
