Job summary

Achieve Group Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Finance Officer - Assets to manage our asset portfolio, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting and compliance.

You will assist the Asset Accountant with validation of the Asset Register and support reviews that underpin financial reporting, asset management and capital planning. Travel may be required occasionally. This 3-month contract offers a competitive hourly rate based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in finance or asset roles.
• Strong understanding of asset management and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
• Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

In this position, you will manage and oversee our asset portfolio, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and compliance. The Finance Officer Assets is responsible for assisting the Asset Accountant with the reviewand validation of the Asset Register, supporting the completion of a comprehensivereview to maintain the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of asset data forfinancial reporting, assetmanagement,andcapitalplanningpurposes.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience in financial management, particularly in asset accounting or administration
• Strong analytical skills with high accuracy in financial data handling
• Excellent proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite
• Sound understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards
• Effective communication and organisational skills

What's on offer:

• 3 months contract
• $41-$46 per hour depending on experience.
